Product description
Nano-zinc oxide for glass industry has the particle size of 20-100nm. With rapid increase of specific surface area, nano-zinc oxide generates surface effect, small-size effect, macroscopic quantum tunneling effect and other effects which are not possessed by massive materials of primitives. Therefore, it has special performance and new use incomparable to common zinc oxide products.
Nano-zinc oxide itself is white and slightly yellow, can be simply colored, is cheap, and has the effect of shielding UV, absorbing infrared ray, killing bacteria and preventing mould when matched with other nanometer materials. Nano-zinc oxide also has a thickening effect, facilitating in dispersive stability of pigments. Nano-zinc oxide can activate oxygen in the air to turn into reactive oxygen in water and air (oxygen) under the ultraviolet irradiation, which has extremely high chemical activity. Therefore, automobile glass and building glass which are added with nano-zinc oxide can resist to UV, wearing and bacteria and remove odor.
