Due to the great progress achieved by man in terms of analysis of the micro-structure of substances, various classifications and theories have emerged about what is really the curing process. Among them, the vulcanization is defined by:
1.If the modification of the main chain of macromolecules of elastomers, the addition of crosslinking agent, with the intervention of a source of thermal energy.
2.Be the passage of the elastomer to its original state to state elastic plasticwith defined characteristics, stable and high resistance to environmental agents.
3.Be a set of chemical reactions between molecules of the elastomer and fragments of high-power chemical crosslinking, which transform substantially the structure of rubber.
